This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which users may receive refunds for
bookings made through our platform. By using Tripggo, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only in the following situations:
- If a driver cancels the ride and no alternative driver is available.
- If the user is charged but the ride was not assigned due to a system error.
- If payment was deducted due to technical issues (duplicate payment, failed booking, etc.).
- If Tripggo cancels the booking for safety or operational reasons.
2. No Refund Situations
Refunds will not be issued if any of the following conditions apply:
- User cancels the ride after a driver has already been assigned.
- User provides incorrect pickup location or contact details.
- User is unresponsive at the pickup point.
- User violates service rules or behaves inappropriately.
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Refund for Online Payments
If you made a payment using UPI, debit/credit card, wallet, or any online method:
- Refund processing time: 3–7 business days.
- Refunds will be returned to the same payment method used during booking.
- Tripggo is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.
4. Cash Payments
If you paid in cash and the ride was cancelled for an eligible reason, you can request a refund through:

Refunds for cash bookings will be processed through a bank transfer or UPI.
Processing time: 2–5 business days.
5. Cancellation Charges
Tripggo may apply cancellation charges in the following cases:
- User cancels the ride after a driver has reached the pickup location.
- User delays the ride excessively (>15 minutes).
- Multiple cancellations within a short period.
6. Technical Errors & Failed Transactions
If money is deducted but booking is not confirmed:
- Keep your payment receipt / UPI ID / transaction ID.
- Contact Tripggo support immediately.
- Refund will be issued after verifying the transaction with the payment gateway.
7. Special Situations
Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis for:
- Service issues caused by driver misconduct.
- Improper behaviour or unsafe driving by the assigned driver.
- Ride not matching the service quality standards of Tripggo.
